Gold pendant with synthetic spinel – mid-20th century
A pendant made in Czechoslovakia in the mid-20th century from 14k yellow, rose, and white gold. A light blue synthetic spinel is set at the center of the piece, around which the goldsmith has crafted a wide frame composed of leaves and flowers.
Stamped with the Czechoslovakian hallmark, the maker´s "K.T"? and the fineness number "585".
Synthetic stones are chemically identical to natural stones but are created artificially. Compared to natural stones, these stones have the same or even better properties and do not contain various flaws, cracks, inclusions, etc.
