Gold necklace with locket - 1870s-1880s

A magnificent gold necklace composed of four connected Garibaldi chains (double links) with a locket. Classic clasp was stamped in Prague with the Austro-Hungarian hallmark used between 1868 and 1901 for foreign goods.

The oval locket has a matte outer case and is set with natural rose cut diamonds on the front and on the bail. Stamped with an Austro-Hungarian hallmark in Vienna after 1872. The pendant has a light patina, which we will be happy to clean free of charge upon request.

Both items are stored in their original jewelry box.
