The gold chain for the pocket watch was made of 14k rose gold with a pendant set with approx. 20.0 ct natural amethyst in the period Austro-Hungarian Empire. Marked in several places with the Austro-Hungarian hallmarks with the place of marking in Vienna and the master's mark.

This is an excellent example of goldsmith's handiwork from the Austro-Hungarian period.
