Shell cameo in gold frame - Psyche

Shell cameo with high relief depicting a woman with a butterfly on her shoulder probably refers to Psyche, the personification of the soul, which is usually depicted with wings or another butterfly motif.

The cameo is set in a 480/1000 fineness rose gold frame (approx. 11k gold) with a folding eyelet and brooch pin.

The gold is stamped with the Czech hallmark for sub-legal fineness, the gold content in the alloy is confirmed by a document issued by the Assay Office.
