Art Nouveau vase - Poschinger
Vase made of metallurgical, colourless, frosted and iridized glass. On the surface of the vase are fused purple threads and drops. It has a conical shape with a slender body, shaped at the top into a wide open five-petalled flower. It was made by the German glassworks Poschinger in the early 20th century.
The Poschinger glassworks is a glass manufacturer based in Frauenau in the Bavarian Forest. The company was founded in 1568, making it the oldest glass manufacturer in Germany and the oldest continuously family-owned glass factory in the world.
