We are happy to polish the surface patina on request.
The Brussels silversmithing firm Delheid was founded around 1828 and gradually established itself as a prominent Belgian producer of domestic silverware. In 1862, the founder’s sons took over the business and adopted the name Delheid Frères, registering a new maker’s mark – a capital letter D with a serpent (usually below the letter, sometimes above). The company specialized in table and household silver, often produced in historicist styles. Delheid Frères achieved international recognition in the 1930s through its Art Deco designs and remained active until the early 1980s.
