Wooden box with inlay - 19th century
Footed wooden box dates from the first half of the 19th century. The hinged lid is decorated with inlay. The box could have served for storing letters and writing set or various small objects.
The item is in good condition considering its age. The lock is fully functional, the hinges too, however the box shows minor signs of wear.
