Alpaca saucepan - rococo revival
Saucepan with attached tray in rococo revival style. A beautiful piece of late 19th century craftsmanship. The material is silver plated alpaca (base metal). Marked "K & Co.N".
In the mid-nineteenth century, the term rococo referred to a style recalling the ornament and design aesthetics of the reigns of Louis XV and early Louis XVI.
