Gold pin with grandel
Massive pin made of yellow and rose 17k gold belongs to the category of hunting jewellery. The decorative part in the shape of hooves is set with two grandels. The finely crafted details are an example of excellent goldsmith work.
Grandle is a hunting term for a tooth of a roe or a deer, specifically a canine tooth. In the jewellery industry, these teeth are used to adorn hunting jewellery and only the finest and highest quality pieces are selected.
The jewel comes with a certificate from the Czech Assay Office confirming the fineness of the precious metal. The attached stopper on the pin is made of base metal.
