Icon - St. Paraskeva
Russian icon depicting St. Paraskeva the Martyr. She is blessing with her right hand and pressing an unrolled scroll with text to her chest with her left hand. She is dressed in a red cloak, a green veil, and a blue undergarment. She is crowned by a pair of flying angels, with Veraikon on the left.
The item, which dates from the late 19th century, comes with a sales and export certificate issued by the National Heritage Institute. Due to its age, the icon shows minor damage (the painting is damaged at the edges and the board has been attacked by woodworm).
