Glass cup with lid - late 18th century
A stemmed cup with a lid made of clear colorless glass at the end of the 18th century in Saxony.
The flat circular base supporting the cut faceted stem is painted with gold and the monogram "SFM". Part of the base has two cracks that have been repaired in the past (see photo). The cup covers a scene of the four seasons in scratched gold. The lid is preserved in excellent condition and is also painted with gold.
