Porcelain figurine of a boy hiding a playing card in his hand; he also has a card motif on his clothing, so it is possible that this is an allegory of card games. Made in the Edmé Samson porcelain factory in Paris between the 1940s and 1960s. The work imitates older Meissen production from the 18th century.
