Long gold chain - 165 cm
The chain originates from the Austro-Hungarian period from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is made of yellow 14k gold (Au 585/1000), measures 165 cm in length, and weighs 31.10 g. It was originally used as a chatelaine – for suspending a pocket watch or a lorgnette.
It bears the Vienna hallmark, used in the Austro-Hungarian Empire since 1872, along with the maker's mark "AF".
