Silver candlestick – 2nd half of the 19th century
Candlestick in the shape of a conically tapering column placed on a square base. The upper “cup” that holds the candle is removable.
Made of silver with a fineness of 800/1000, marked with French hallmarks used for imported goods between 1864–1893, as well as the maker’s marks. A certificate from the Czech Assay Office has been issued for the item.
Please note that when using candlesticks, the candle must not be allowed to burn down completely, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the object.
