A silver plate of simple and elegant design from the renowned jewellery and silversmith brand Tiffany & Co. Made of sterling silver (Ag 925/1000). The fineness of the precious metal is confirmed by a certificate issued by the Assay Office.

Marked “M” after the name of the local president of the company, John C. Moore II (1907-1947). The production number 22929 refers to the first year of production of this design (from 1940). 

During World War II, a special symbol (star) was added to the mark to confirm that the items were made from silver sourced from American mines.
