SOLD - Empire style perfume bottle, France, end of 18th century
Glass perfume bottle with a 18k yellow gold overlay and lid dates from the early Empire period - France, end of the 18th century. It's wonderfully hand made, the gold overlay and the lid is hand-engraved all over. The bottle contains the original undamaged glass stopper and the original inner lining of the golden lid.
A small part of the gold overlay on the front upper part has not been preserved, overall the bottle is in excellent, functional condition.
