SOLD - Porcelain cup and saucer - Vienna, 1828 - 1838
Hand-painted purple and white porcelain cup and saucer were made between 1828 and 1838 by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in Vienna. Decorated with gold coating and a floral motif in the centre of the saucer. The front of the cup is decorated with a star with the inscription 'SND nie unsere FREUNDSCHAFT' meaning "Our friendship will never end". The everlasting flower on the saucer only enhances the meaning. On the underside of both pieces we find the mark of the Vienna porcelain factory.
In excellent condition without damages.
