SOLD - Large flower brooch with garnets - M. Kersch
The garnet one was created at the beginning of the 20th century in the workshop of the jeweller Mojžíš Kersch.
Natural Bohemian garnets are set next to each other in a flower pattern using the rivet technique in four tiers. The garnets have a rout cut and range in size from 0.1 to 0.4 cm. Set in tombak (base metal), which in this case is quite rarely stamped with the maker's mark "KER."
The needle with a "C" clasp holds well on the dress.
