        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/59187-small_default/silver-plate-j-c-klinkosch.jpg" title="Silver plate - J. C. Klinkosch" alt="thumb" /><p>Plain silver plate made of solid 800/1000 silver. The wide rim features a calligraphic monogram "SR". Marked with the Austro-Hungarian "Diana" hallmark (used since 1872), the maker's mark "JCK" for Josef Carl Klinkosch, and "the Imperial Eagle" hallmark.</p>
<p>Josef Carl Klinkosch (1822–1888) was a prominent Viennese silversmith and official supplier to the Imperial Court of Emperor Franz Joseph I. In 1869, Klinkosch became the sole owner of the family manufacture, rebranding it as J.C. Klinkosch. His workshop was renowned for exceptional craftsmanship and award-winning designs showcased at world exhibitions in Vienna and Paris. Silverware bearing the "JCK" mark remains highly sought after by collectors worldwide.</p>]]></description>

Inside is a hand-engraved dedication: "<em>1895 24/V 1945 Od bratra Jeníka</em>" (from brother Jeník). Stamped with a fineness number, maker's mark and Czechoslovak export mark. The fineness of the metal is confirmed by a certificate from the Czech Assay Office.</p>]]></description>

On the bottom of the vessel is a hallmark used in Kiev between 1908 and 1926, along with a maker’s mark (possibly Igor Zaviandv Successors). The outer surface is decorated with delicate engraving. The silver fineness is certified by the Czech Assay Office.</p>
<p data-start="339" data-end="386">The vessel has a volume of approximately 10 ml. There is a slight dent in one area of the vessel's body.</p>]]></description>
