It was hallmarked in Vienna with the Austro-Hungarian "fox" hallmark between 1872 and 1922 and the maker´s mark "DL". The original clasp is functional. The decorative ball-shaped pendant shows signs of wear; its surface has a few small dents. One link of the chain was repaired in the past.</p>]]></description>

Two natural carnelian plates are set in a rectangular pendant with a richly decorated frame. One of them depicts a cameo with a contemporary popular motif of a soldier with a helmet. The piece is marked with the Austro-Hungarian hallmark “fox” with the letter A (hallmarked in Vienna) and a less legible master mark, probably “SB”. The total length of the chain is 35 cm.</p>]]></description>

The pin has a decorative head made of hollow 9k gold (375/1000) in yellow and rose color, set with a natural garnet in the center. The pin and chain are made of 11k gold (450/1000). The ends of the chain are also decoratively finished.</p>

        <title><![CDATA[Art Nouveau gold chain with locket - 60,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/56538-small_default/art-nouveau-gold-chain-with-locket.jpg" title="Art Nouveau gold chain with locket" alt="thumb" /><p>This 47 cm long chatelaine – a pocket watch chain that can also be worn as an elegant necklace – was made in the 1920s. The goldsmith used 14k yellow gold. The opening locket is set with a natural clear sapphire (leucosapphire) and a synthetic ruby – popular stones used in the early 20th century.</p>

<p>The chain was stamped in several places with the First Czechoslovak Republic hallmark used between 1921 and 1929 and maker´s marks.</p>

<p>The jewelry has been preserved with its original clasp and spring ring. The opening mechanism of the locket is fully functional, and the locket can also be completely detached. Its smooth surfaces bear slight signs of wear - small dents.</p>]]></description>

Crafted from 800/1000 silver. The individual links feature detailed decoration – using the niello technique and rose gilding. Attached to the spring ring hangs a silver devotional medal inlaid with black enamel; the reverse side has an engraved monogram “M.Z”.</p>
<p data-start="410" data-end="594" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">In several places, the Austro-Hungarian import hallmark with the letter “B” (the mark of the assay office in Linz), used between 1902–1921, appears alongside the fineness number “800”.</p>]]></description>

The square  medallion which can be opened is set with a dark blue paste stone in its center and has engraving on the back. The piece has a lobster clasp that is fully functional and in excellent condition.</p>
<p>The chain is marked with the Austro-Hungarian "fox" hallmark (with the letter "A", which means that it was hallmarked in Vienna), used between 1872 and 1922.</p>]]></description>
