<p>The dimensions for inserting a photograph/portrait are 5.9 × 4.4 cm (inner glass frame).</p>

        <title><![CDATA[Riding crop with silver handle - Austria-Hungary - 5,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/53044-small_default/riding-crop-with-silver-handle-austria-hungary.jpg" title="Riding crop with silver handle - Austria-Hungary" alt="thumb" /><p>Riding crop with a total length of 62 cm dates from the first quarter of the 20th century. The material is wood, leather and silver (fineness Ag 900/1000).</p>
<p>It bears signs of use, the leather strap is torn off on one side.</p>
<p>Hallmarked in Vienna with the Austro-Hungarian hallmark used in Austria until 1922 and the maker´s mark 'JT'. On the handle there is also an engraved monogram "JJ" and the date "2.7.1936".</p>]]></description>

<p>Very good condition.</p>
<p>Marked with German hallmarks. Further stamped in Prague with the Austro-Hungarian hallmark for foreign goods between 1902-1921.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Hand-held scales – second half of the 18th century - 11,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/52139-small_default/hand-held-scales-second-half-of-the-18th-century.jpg" title="Hand-held scales – second half of the 18th century" alt="thumb" /><p>Small hand-held iron scales with brass pans, probably made in the second half of the 18th century. Inside the original wooden case are two handwritten labels with descriptions in German. Johann Los informs the user that this is a small scale without weights, intended for weighing a single ducat according to the lot scale, up to a weight of 64 lots. The second text states that when the weight is placed, "Dopolonen" can be weighed.</p>
<p>One brass pan is marked with the figure of a knight (see photograph).</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Faience corbel with chinoiserie - year 1748 - 25,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/51013-small_default/faience-corbel-with-chinoiserie-year-1748.jpg" title="Faience corbel with chinoiserie - year 1748" alt="thumb" /><p>The pear-shaped corbel is made of blue and white faience with chinoiserie motifs. The lid and the edges of the object are made of tin, which is marked with the engraved date ‘1748’ and the monogram ‘CS’. Similar corbels come from Delft or Frankfurt production.</p>
<p>Due to its age, the vessel has been repaired in several places (lid, bottom) and bears signs of use - such as scratches, cracks and abrasions.</p>

<p>Chinoiserie is an artistic style that imitates or is inspired by Chinese (and generally East Asian) art and culture, but originated in Europe, mainly in the 17th-18th centuries.</p>]]></description>

The box holds closed, but the locking mechanism in the form of a snap claps is loose, not functional. The icon itself dates from the 19th century, the case is more recent.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Platinum lorgnette with diamonds - 120,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/50774-small_default/platinum-lorgnette-with-diamonds-.jpg" title="Platinum lorgnette with diamonds" alt="thumb" /><p data-start="82" data-end="395" class="">A lorgnette made of platinum (950/1000 fineness) from the first quarter of the 20th century. The openwork handle, crafted using the millegrain technique (literally "a thousand grains"), is set with <strong>natural diamonds</strong> weighing a total of <strong>2.01 ct</strong>. An embossed decoration on the side enhances the opulent design.</p>

<p data-start="397" data-end="601" class="">The diamonds include two round cut stones weighing 0.06 ct each, eight round cut stones of 0.03 ct each, 56 single cut diamonds with a total weight of 1.05 ct, and 82 rose cut diamonds totaling 0.60 ct.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Cloisonné ginger jar - 0 Kč]]></title>

Almost the entire surface is covered with cloisonné enamel with a peony motif in the centre. The inner walls are covered with light blue enamel. This is one of the traditional techniques used in China for more than 600 years. </p>
<p>In addition, the bowl comes with a wooden stand.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Wooden box with inlay - 19th century - 18,000 Kč]]></title>

The hinged lid is decorated with inlay. The box could have served for storing letters and writing set or various small objects.</p>

<p>The item is in good condition considering its age. The lock is fully functional, the hinges too, however the box shows minor signs of wear.</p>]]></description>
