The author is the Czech glassmaker Bořek Šípek, Verdurin collection, year 1994.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Verdurin is one of his collections for Driade, which is characterized by a combination of white porcelain and colored glass.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Driade is an Italian design and furniture company founded in 1968, known for its "aesthetic laboratory" approach, creating furniture and objects that are both functional and artistic.</p>
<p></p>

Similar motifs with bird and mythological animal heads were very popular and used by many porcelain manufactures throughout Europe.</p>

<p>The gold line around the perimeter is rubbed off in places and there's one tiny chip on the corner part of rim.</p>]]></description>

The plate has been used and has surface scratches and missing painting in places, but it's not apparent in the decoration, and otherwise it is in perfect condition with no dents.</p>
<p>In this size we offer a total of 2 pieces with the same pattern.</p>
<p>The mounting for hanging is included.</p>]]></description>
