        <title><![CDATA[Putto as a boy with a pistol - Meissen - 18,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/55327-small_default/putto-as-a-boy-with-a-pistol-meissen.jpg" title="Putto as a boy with a pistol - Meissen" alt="thumb" /><p>A detailed figurine from the series "Cupids/Putti in Disguise" by modeler Michel Victor Acier (1736–1799), produced at the world-famous Meissen porcelain factory.</p>
<p></p>
<p>This model, named <em>Amorette als Knabe mit Pistole</em> (which can be translated as Putto as a boy with a pistol), was designed in 1775 and manufactured in the 19th century. The markings on the bottom of the figurine were used by the company from 1815 until the beginning of the 20th century.</p>
<p></p>
<p>The figurine represents top-quality modeling and painting work.</p>
<p></p>
<p>It bears small traces of damage and repairs.</p>]]></description>

Cupid standing by a circular pillar holding an arrow in one hand and a jug over two hearts in the other. The inscription (motto) on the base is in French 'Je blesse et soulage' ('I hurt and I heal'). The polychrome painting has gilded details.</p>

<p>The company used the marking underneath the statue from 1815 until the beginning of the 20th century. This model was designed as early as 1777 by Michel Victor Acier (*1736 - †1799), marked with the model number "F 14" from below the statue. It comes from the "Children with Mottos" series, which depicts cupids as children taking care of hearts, with mottos or phrases on the base.</p>

        <title><![CDATA[Porcelain Figurine – Vienna, 18th century - 80,000 Kč]]></title>

Marked on the underside with an underglaze blue shield and an impressed letter "P", indicating the modeller Anton Peyer (also spelled Payer), active between 1762–1787.</p>

        <title><![CDATA[Statuette of a girl with hat - Goldscheider - 12,000 Kč]]></title>

She is dressed in a long dress and cap, holding a jug in one hand and carrying a bag in the other. It is a production of the Austrian porcelain factory Goldscheider from the beginning of the 20th century. The figurine is not marked with the maker's mark. The model number 1011 is marked on the back of the base.<br /><br />In excellent condition with no damage.<br /><br />In 1885, Friedrich Goldscheider came from the Czech town of Pilsen to Vienna where he founded the Goldscheider Porcelain Factory and a majolica factory. It became one of the most influential ceramic manufactories in Austria, with subsidiaries in Paris, Leipzig and Florence. For more than half a century Goldscheider created works of historical revival, Art Nouveau and Art Deco.</p>]]></description>
