        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/51177-small_default/glass-decanter.jpg" title="Glass decanter" alt="thumb" /><p>Clear glass decanter, made at the end of the 19th century, decorated with engraved motifs inspired by Renaissance themes. These decorative elements refer to the work of the famous glass engraver Dionys Miseroni, active at the court of Emperor Rudolf II.</p>
<p>The decanter is in excellent condition with no chips or damages.</p>]]></description>

Outside frosted and hand-painted with floral motif, gilded details. The upper parts of the containers are enhanced with light blue tones, separated by golden lines. The containers were made around 1870 by the glassworks in Harrachov.<br /><br />In very good condition, no damage.<br /><br />]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Swedish decanter - 1884 - 34,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/53389-small_default/karafa-svedsko-rok-1884-7200.jpg" title="Swedish decanter - 1884" alt="thumb" /><p>Wine carafe made of cut glass and silver partially engraved mounting of 800/1000 fineness. Marked with fineness number "800" and model number (?) "4202". The lid is opened by a hinged mechanism. Gilt inside.</p>
<p>The same serial number and similar design is also found on another product (<a href="https://antiquesprague.cz/cs/sklo-karafy/2321-karafa-svedsko-rok-1884.html">os.008.18.11</a>) in our offer, which is additionally marked in 1884 in Stockholm with the master mark "CGHg" (C.G Hallbergs Guldsmeds, active between 1864-1988).</p>
<p>Carl Gustaf Hallberg (1824-1880) was a Swedish jeweller and founder of C.G Hallbergs Guldsmeds. Hallberg began his career as an apprentice to art collector Christian Hammer in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1860 he opened his own shop and from 1864 he branded his products with the GCH mark.</p>]]></description>
