        <title><![CDATA[Commemorative spa cup - Teplice, 1840 - 6,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/58559-small_default/commemorative-spa-cup-teplice-1840.jpg" title="Commemorative spa cup - Teplice, 1840" alt="thumb" /><p>A typical Biedermeier spa glass made of colorless cut and engraved glass with purple-glazed medallions and a German inscription "Andenken aus Teplitz 1840" ("Souvenir from Teplice 1840"). The medallions depict important places in Teplice.</p>
<p>The glass is in excellent condition. The base has a few minor scratches caused by normal use.</p>
<p>Souvenir glass</p>
<p>Glass goblets and cups decorated to the customer's specifications were very popular gifts and souvenirs from the first half of the 19th century. They were individual gifts for name days, birthdays, and other personal or family anniversaries. Sometimes, instead of a monogram, only a universal inscription such as ANDENKEN (In memory) was engraved.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Glass cup with the theme of the Last Supper - 9,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/58496-small_default/glass-cup-with-the-theme-of-the-last-supper.jpg" title="Glass cup with the theme of the Last Supper" alt="thumb" /><p>A clear colorless glass, surface finished with ruby glaze, approximately from the mid-19th century. On one side, it has an engraving based on the painting "The Last Supper." On the other side, there are seven cut lenses. Each one bears a part of the text referring to the city of Teplice, and in the middle there is the monogram "M.M."</p>
<p>In excellent condition, with only slight scratches on the bottom of the base caused by normal use.</p>

        <title><![CDATA[Glass with religious theme - historicism - 2,800 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/58180-small_default/glass-with-religious-theme-historicism.jpg" title="Glass with religious theme - historicism" alt="thumb" /><p>A clear, colorless glass decorated with cutting. On the front is an oval medallion with a painted motif of Jesus Christ with the 12 apostles. On the back is a cut-out magnifying lens used on glass objects of a similar type, mainly for decorative purposes. The upper edge of the glass is lined with a gold line. The object dates from the historicism period, more precisely from the end of the 19th century.</p>

<p>In excellent condition, completely without scratches, only one microchip on the neck.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Glass cup with Madonna - early 20th century - 6,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/58179-small_default/glass-cup-with-madonna-early-20th-century.jpg" title="Glass cup with Madonna - early 20th century" alt="thumb" /><p>A heavy goblet made of clear colorless glass at the beginning of the 20th century. The figural cut composition comes from the popular and widely copied painting with the theme of the Virgin Mary, Baby Jesus, and St. John the Baptist, "Madonna della Sedia" from 1514 by Raffaello Santi (1483-1520), which can be seen in the last photo. On the other side, we find the inscription "Zum Andenken" (In memory).</p>
<p>There are slight scratches on the base and upper edge of the glass caused by normal use, but otherwise it is in excellent condition.</p>

        <title><![CDATA[Glass cup with lid - late 18th century - 9,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/58167-small_default/glass-cup-with-lid-late-18th-century.jpg" title="Glass cup with lid - late 18th century" alt="thumb" /><p>A stemmed cup with a lid made of clear colorless glass at the end of the 18th century in Saxony.</p>
<p>The flat circular base supporting the cut faceted stem is painted with gold and the monogram "SFM". Part of the base has two cracks that have been repaired in the past (see photo). The cup covers a scene of the four seasons in scratched gold. The lid is preserved in excellent condition and is also painted with gold.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Small glass tankard glass with engraving of Hradčany - 4,500 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/57914-small_default/small-glass-tankard-glass-with-engraving-of-hradcany.jpg" title="Small glass tankard glass with engraving of Hradčany" alt="thumb" /><p>A souvenir vessel on a stem with a handle, made of  thick-walled glass, depicting a view of Hradčany from Jelení příkop (Deer Moat) and the inscription "<em>Hradschin mit dem Hirschgraben in Prag</em>". The central motif and inscription field are further framed by floral decoration. The volume of the vessel is 0.3 l.</p>
<p>The glass is in very good condition, without chips, only with scratches and scuffs on the bottom caused by normal use.</p>]]></description>

        <title><![CDATA[Glass sweetmeat dish - Silesia, 2nd half of the 18th century - 12,000 Kč]]></title>
        <description><![CDATA[<img src="https://antiquesprague.cz/57853-small_default/glass-sweetmeat-dish-silesia-2nd-half-of-the-18th-century.jpg" title="Glass sweetmeat dish - Silesia, 2nd half of the 18th century" alt="thumb" /><p data-start="0" data-end="117">Goblet on a stem made of clear, colourless glass, produced in Silesia in the second half of the 18th century. The boat-shaped bowl has a wavy relief rim with a rocaille motif, highlighted with gilding.</p>
<p data-start="325" data-end="500" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">Considering its age, the glass is in very good condition; a few edges show almost imperceptible micro-chips, and the gilding is partly worn.</p>]]></description>
